Zijin Longking has delivered Phase I of the Mamicuo source-grid-load-storage integrated energy project in Tibet.

The project combines 420 MWp of solar generation with a 412.5 MW / 1,650 MWh battery energy storage system to provide reliable power for the remote Mamicuo lithium-boron mining operation.

Located at approximately 4,400 metres above sea level, the project demonstrates Zijin Longking’s capability to manufacture and deploy large-scale energy infrastructure in an isolated, high-altitude and extreme-climate operating environment.

Phase I reached full-capacity generation on 30 June 2026 following a construction period of just over seven months. The project is expected to deliver more than 700 million kWh of green electricity annually and reduce annual carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 456,000 tonnes.
